. As timid, bland, and predictable as romantic comedies come .... The folks behind Sex Tape did their homework. They just forgot the laughs.. An uneasy comedy that is not without its laugh-out-loud moments.. Sex Tape is warmer and more amusing than its ads would lead one to believe. In fact, it's almost good enough, leaning a little too hard on the innate likability of stars Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel.. Since it's a comedy, much could be forgiven if the film was consistent in generating laughs...
